Kentucky Alittlegray2003@yahoo.com Anita was born in the inner city of
Lexington Kentucky in January of 1967. Although she grew up in
howntown area her parents took her and her siblings to the
countrysides of Kentucky on the weekends where she absorbed the
simple things like the trees and the birds and the colors that the
countryside provided from season to season.
As early on as elementary school she found that the only subject she
had any passion for was art. At home she would spend her spare time
drawing and expressing herself on paper. By the time she reached
Junior High school her passion for the arts seemed to be the only
subject that made a difference. The only teacher that drew her interest
was in fact her art teacher and she would hang on every lesson and
every story she had to offer. Every feeling, every emotion comes out in
her work. Anita is not a painter of landscapes or portraits but a painter of
feelings...in living color.
