Doin' It When We Can't Page 2
By Anthony Douglas Gere
This is all entertaining in a sick and twisted creative way, and most people
search for their identity in a visual way. I mean even those not blessed with
sight sometime have an advantage on not seeing some of the things we do
who have sight take granted. They can imagine and slur the truth to define it
how they would perceive it or told to them, and place it where they see fit in
their memories to recall at any given moment. Those of us that read books
or carefully place items by the media, watch television or the interaction of
people, side with whom ever we can relate to. I think that is why athletes and
entertainers are held at such a high level, because we are living vicariously
through them, and become them visually challenged person when we are
trying to be what we are not. But don't get me wrong, we are them for that
moment. We are Seinfeld, Jennifer Anniston, David Beckham or J-LO. We
are them for the moment and they are us in their craft because they make
us believe it, its what they do. Now we are who we are there is doubt about
that, but we are many more things that we just don't know until we become
it. Think of your happy times and you fears, your nightmare and dreams,
they are not really you, but an extension of what you want to become or not.
This takes us back to the middle third of your life. The most important
but most overlooked time that you can control if you give in to it.
Because believe it or not, at this time you are being what you can when
you can't.
So with the same energy I ask you who you are, can you tell me who I am
to you? I mean who or what do you see me being? How should I view you,
in the uniform society dictates, in the nude or hard at work. Aren't we
in part all the same in a different way? I mean we all came her they
same way, the same creative process and ignorant to most things in our
development. What makes one better, smarter, calm or stressed. Would
you say it would be our environment, upbring or outlook? I mean like I
said before in other theories of thought, none of us had a choice on
what race, size, height and so on in being who we are, so why are we
trying to be what we are not in ways that makes us who we are?
