How Far Is Near
By ADGere
First off, thanks for the comments on the Moodsetter music cd’s we send out, I
appreciate the thumbs up. For those of you that are wondering what I am
talking about, me and my crew make music cd’s of songs we like to listen to,
and do so to weed out the songs that don’t move us by artist that do. We don’t
sell them or do anything illegal with them; we actually just give and send them
out to our friends and family to promote the vibe we seem to be constantly on.
The last few ‘moodies” have been pretty good in my opinion, and by the
response from those of you that have also gotten a copy, you also agree, so
thanks. The one I am writing this theory to is called, “B Careful”, and yeah, it is
ridiculously ignorant in its lyrical contents and will take you to a place beyond
utopia if you are into lyrics and smooth jazzy music. It’s on the mellow side of
passion with non-radio rotating songs that are the “B” Side on singles, and is
not really aggressive, but subtle in its potent punch like this theory, when
listening to it talk to you, not at you. So if you want one, email me or the site
this theory / writing is on, and I will make sure you get one, free of charge.
Now, the question of the day is, “Is the grass always greener in the other
pasture, or is it Astroturf and or do we play a visual trick on what we think we
see or view on ourselves to imagine someone else’s life and what we may be
missing out on?” That’s the question, and as usual, I will bring it up later on, so
don’t really give it that much thought right now, and flow with me down the river
of text in this theory of thought inspired by love, life and learning more about
both. I am also writing this theory in a new way. I am going to write about
many different things, but they all will revolve, evolve and form into one around
many things. Its basically nothing new if you know how I write, but this time, I
am making more of a conscience effort to deliver many things into one. Now I
won’t, not can’t, but willingly won’t tell you what that subject or topic is right
now, but I am more than sure you will get it when you finish reading this in an
unconditional way, whenever that is to you. So go ahead and get comfortable,
because we are about to have some fun. Grab whatever you need to drink, a
few Advil or Tylenol for the new wrinkles that are about to appear and some
tissue because you are going to need it. Well you might not need the aspirin,
but you will need the tissue or toilet paper because you will either be crying
your eyes out, wiping off the sweat and guilt from the glasses that will be
shown in this theory of reality I am about to show you, or wiping your ass from
the other hole I am about to give you if you apply to the label you have placed
yourself in. Oh yeah, one more thing and before we go any further, let me get a
few things out of the way before exploring a bit, and admit a few more things I
need to share with you. I am not sure if it is the overwhelming but welcomed
emails, if it is the mere fact that I now have an abundance of time to think more
vividly about things because of my recent retirement or my confidence in what I
am doing. But for some reason, I am feeling a stronger and stronger need to
write more and more frequently, and honestly, an even stronger need to reveal
each and every conscience layer I have and now discovering each and every
moment. I do feel that on some level, my emotions are taking a co-starring role
in this movie I call life, and have me going through things like one of my favorite
vocalist, Mary J. Blidge. You see back in the day, I used to be in the music
business on the business side, not a performer (Lord knows that would have
been an event to hear me sing), and learned a lot of things that are crucial on
how we all listen to music. Have you ever felt, I mean just really heard and felt
a performer really put their all into certain songs, and only wished they did that
throughout the album?, well there is a reason they can’t, or won’t. A lot of
things that take place in songs have to do with if the person actually wrote the
song they are singing or performing, if they were going through something that
they could connect with in the song, or they are singing it because someone
else advised them to.
