Just Like Coffee
By Anthony Douglas Gere

Okay okay I know, the title is so predictable that Stevie Wonder could
see whats coming, but this has many dimensions and many more
sub-plots, so give it a chance and travel with me in it because it does fit a
purpose and still kind of cute. It's almost like I've already written this before in
my mind several times, and was just looking a reason to put in on paper.
Almost like I've lived it in another life, or simply dreamed about when not
asleep. Maybe if I didn't want to be so dramatic and get straight to the point
and offer a readers digest version of this excerpt, I would call it, "fate or
destiny". But seeing how my discovery came in a java-like experience, I
thought this would fit the situation, as it does my imaginary self. So go with
me, have a little dose of my personal goals outside of my personal life and
how I tell it and welcome it. Better yet invite it in like you would a chapter in
your own book of life, and rewrite the unwritten words with your
description and cast your own characters in this non-scripted play or
movie. Smile with me, as I cry the tears of a clown and stand tall with
me as we sit a read this theory of thought together. And if your hungry
bring enough for two, and if your thirsty, we can drink something that
taste just like coffee.

I guess this theory of thought is more like a culmination of many
instead of a pure entity by itself. It also combines the meaning and
definition of the movies Coming to America and The Family Man, in
which innocently a person is transformed by choice or force to adapt to a
surrounding and environment they are not accustomed to for a lesson
to be taught and learned. I think in a way we all do that be it a child going
to a new school, a new job or scene that is out of the norm but stirs
curiosity in testing ones durability and skills of blending in to a new
a inspiring situation. Sort of like celebrating Halloween three hundred
and sixty four days a year and the other one is today, a day we reveal
ourselves without a mask or costume. Its really interesting to view how
people view you when they place you in a box unconsciously, and how
you judge yourself when in that situation also, looking from the inside
out. Its almost like you are embarrassed and want to show something
different or more appealing, instead of being who you are in costume. I
know from experience that in my search to find true happiness and love
from outside my normal realm of life brought challenges and doubts
when  faced with the things I turned my back on, and while not confronted,
found a meaningless joy and superficial facade in what I was doing. Its
like I wanted to have the best of both worlds on my own terms, and
struggled with the lost of my place or true identity and came to face that I
couldn't have my cake and eat it too.
