My Comments on Feedback
By ADGere

I got this email the other day commenting on one of my earlier theories I wrote a
while back, and now will do my best to combine many elements in this one I am
creating on the spot for you today.  Now it should be established, noted in wet
concrete and formally recorded for future reference that I do stand firmly behind
what I say and write, though at times when I have thoughts that swirl in my head
before acting upon them, may select a different angle or method of approach to
address the situation before acting upon it, which will not be known to the public.
So why am I doing this now you may ask, easy, I’m doing it to clean up a little bitty
mess I might have made when I thought I was serving some thoughts on a clean
slate, but obviously didn’t rinse it as good as I thought when I went to eat on it
again.  In many ways I guess it’s not really a mess I made, but maybe a form of
misunderstanding or a better definition on what I was trying to say when I said it
in the contents it was meant to be said and unconditionally heard.  What I will
attempt to do is write a new theory with more girth to it, answer a few comments
in the process without being too long, elaborate or continue my thoughts from a
different angle, position or perspective and try to make sense of it, all at the same
time.  Now this might take some effort and if I seem to struggle, just be patient
and I am sure I will bring it all back together once this is over, I hope (smile).  So
yeah, this theory might or might not be for you, and if so or not, I appreciate the
time and effort in joining me in this journey to the unknown.  I also once again
would like thank all of you for supporting me, welcoming me back from my
vacation, and as usual, pushing me with your comments and feedback to explore
beyond the unknown to vent out some thoughts I have now became familiar with.
I must say that it is amazing how much we all internalize things, and like emotions
and feelings, when things become so passionate or unbearable, it is extremely
difficult to display or express them into words for others to understand.  I think I
said it best in one of my most popular theories, “No Words Needed” when I tried
to relay what was inside of me.  And though I feel I said it all and at the same time
could not say enough, the meaning behind the visual, is often right in front of our
faces as we look from side to side when crossing the street blindly.  I believe the
saying, “one mans trash is another man’s treasure” is where I would like to start
in this theory, and explain to you a very surreal moment that happen to me
recently that had me laughing, thinking, reflecting and humbly seeking something
I had and lost at the same time.  I took place in a normal fashion, nothing special
and pretty much routine, which by now we all know, is far from that in dealing with
me.  While in the grocery store the other day to pick up some meat and things for
a spur of the moment bar-b-que me and the fellas was about to have at my house,
I received a call on my cell phone instructing me to also pick a bunch of water for
us to drink, like I’m a delivery person or work for Alhambra or Crystal Geyser or
something.  It was a hot sunny California day, and besides drinking just alcoholic
beverages poolside in lawn chairs and on the patio under the gazebo which I
know we are going to do in abundance, we also knew the importance of keeping
ourselves hydrated with some good ole H20.  Most of my friends are current or ex-
professional athletes, and in many ways, I think we all were and are trained to
listen to our bodies and know the importance of keeping it fueled to perform at its
highest level.  Now I could go on and on and talk about how great of an idea it was
for someone to market, bottle and sell water, but we will go down that road
another day, because that my friend, is as almost as great as an invention or
marketing scheme as the most famous item ever sold without ever being man
made, “The Pet Rock”, which by the way sold and made over 400 million dollars in
its existence.  But as I entered into the store and headed down the water and
juice isle, I seen on display this particular store selling Crystal Geyser water in
the gallon jugs for one dollar a piece if you had a discount card.  Instantly I
thought that sounded like a great deal, because at the 7/11 or corner
convenience store, a basic bottle of the same stuff and a fraction of the size, was
at least that or more.  So as I stored that price in my mental rolodex, thought
about it for a second and continued to check out the other prices and selections
in that isle from other vendors and brands of its likeness, I felt this nervous
twinge for some odd reason.  As I walked up on the smaller bottles, I saw that
they also were on sale, but in a case of 24 at a price of $4.99, which also seemed
reasonable and a great price.  Now this is where  things gotta little bit weird for
me, and I started thinking about a television show I had only seen once or twice
that seemed a little stupid at first, but entertaining and ever so true if you actually
watch it.  Have you seen or at least heard of the show, “Are you smarter than a
fifth grader?”  Yeah, the show where Jeff Foxworthy is the host and makes fun of
people that are in competition with kids trying to win a million dollars?  Well let me
tell ya, I’m a college graduate from two different Universities, top student in the
Xerox Sales Center School for Management, a member of MESA, founded, owned
and operated my own consulting firm for over 17 years, retired before I was forty
years of age and pretty dam smart if I say so myself.  Now I didn’t state those
facts to floss or show off, but said or wrote them down to make a strong and valid
point!  So think about what you are thinking right now, and somewhat forget about
what you thought you could remember and hold on to your seats because maybe
this has or will happened to you.
