Thank God for Birthdays Page 2

Now when selecting or creating my card of choice, I must first start with the
shape. I believe the shape and size is the most important part of the
representation and statement you are trying to make. I feel the size and shape
should form a three dimensional effect. Almost like it is forever changing to
signify the many moods and feelings I endure and have shared. The color,
rainbow. A rainbow the acknowledges each end of the color scheme and
spectrum that validates the aura we all have and have gone through on the
battlefield called life and living. But seeing how most of us are amazed by the
outer shell or cosmetic things in life, I feel the most vital and memorable part of
this card is the interior, the text. You see this is where the rubber meets the
road and the true meaning for creating or selecting such a card. This is where
you are represented and try to send a personalize message that says what
you feel and want to say. So in firm reality, it doesn't really matter what it looks
like, and really matters what the contents is all about.
So now the true test begins. What we first need to do is find a font to accent
the letters that make up the words that complete the sentence with style. The
font should be unique but simple. Flashy but classic, and not to over done
or cluttered, so you can read it and it doesn't look like a montage. It should
have a regal flare to it signifying pride and strength, and also sensitivity and
warmth. The style, bold but not overwhelming. Large but not gigantic. The
number of lines and how they are arranged is also important, for the eyes
need to wander but stay focused. All of this comes together but needs to
be put together piece by piece. Thank God for birthdays.
Now comes the message. Oh yes the message. The meaning for the
purpose in all aspects, so yes, this is important. Now seeing how we have
decided that the message will be long enough to get the message across,
but short enough to make a point and fit in the card, we must be precise.
The words we use must be powerful and meaningful. We must make the
statement of statements, linked to the substance of this purpose and
placement of time. We must express complete admiration for the
accomplishment, and the unconditional feeling of love that will and
would absorb within what we put out and in under any circumstances
and conditions. We must be responsible to the receiver of this card in
letting them know that through the good and bad times, we can stand
together and will overcome anything if they give you the same effort and
courtesy of the last statement written. We can become what we already
are with work, just stronger. We can and will hurt as much as much as
we love, and to never forget the things we remember about each other.
We must let them know that no matter what, we will stand as we sit and
run as we walk, we will hear what we say and listen how we talk,
together, forever, as one. The message must come in three completely
different areas summing up the same feeling. Now if I created such a
card or theory of thought, I would be satisfied and selfish, very selfish to
many degrees. You see I could not allow just anyone to read or accept
it. They must be special or make me feel a certain way. I must see
something in them that makes me want to show myself. I couldn't give it
to someone that selects a Hallmark card in 15 seconds, because they
wouldn't get it. I would though give it to those that know my unknown.
Those that dream to live another day. You see no company can produce
this is mass quantities, and if they could, there would be no war because
the love would fight it off. I guess in many ways I look at each day as
a creation, and Thank God for Birthdays -
