The Woman in Rocky
By Anthony Douglas Gere
In attempting to break the squared formed frozen water the other day at a
café, it resulted in a metamorphosis happening, which resulted in the
primary ingredient for this theory of thought you are about to read. In many of
my theories, I’m basically traveling faster and more efficiently than I can type,
and many more at times; forget what I’m writing about when I get an idea.
When this type of thing happens, I give you the reader a fraction on what I
really intended to relay or say, and pretty much make do with other ideas that
fit into the theory or topic I am attempting to discover. Someone recently
asked me if I ever stop thinking, and do I allow myself the time to just
breathe. Well like I will tell you as I did them, yes, definitely yes, and more
than likely, much more than you could ever imagine. But also at the same
time and realm of reality, I don’t ever want to stop thinking, breathing or
smelling my own shit. You see our time here on earth in my opinion, is
relatively short and insignificant if you don’t do anything with your life and
the time you have available. I mean in comparison to a quick
meaningless or meaningful event, however you take its contents and
more, everything is relative and based on ones input to see what ones
output will be. Now to some, my theories seem to never end, which to
me, is a compliment in me wanting to believe I am forever growing and
changing to meet the standards I set for myself. I will tell you whole-
heartedly that I write these things for free. I don’t know what I would do
if I couldn’t write down my thoughts, display them and release these
feelings I have inside of me. I don’t get paid, don’t want to and definitely
don’t expect anything from them. It also goes far beyond what I think you
may think, feel or whatever. This is my time alone. A time where I can
zone out, focus and let my imagination reach out as far as it cannot see.
Why I do this goes far beyond what you can possible understand, not
taking anything from you. But also know I am honored that many take
out the time to absorb my theories and pass them on as
entertainment or motivation to others. But in releasing this energy in
the air for many to read, I appreciate the time I have available to do so,
and those that take out the time to do it with me. I know, that sounds
kind of selfish and self-centered but sometimes the truth is like that
and right now, it aint wrong to me in saying the facts. Anyway, as I was
breaking the ice with someone today, a metaphor came out of their
mouth, and the connection they referred to it as in terms with life, really
painted a portrait to me better than this theory is to you. Her reference
was of a reflection on our minds, brains and whatever other forces that
are out here, that control our choices, selections and decision making.
This product that once sold for a house-note to the everyday Joe Blow,
and now can be obtained if you probably by tow or three Big Mac’s at
Mickey Dee’s is the centerpiece for this theory. Now you’re wondering
what I’m talking about or you’ve guess I’m talking about a television,
computer or Ipod. Well no, I’m talking about a DVD / Compact Disc Player,
and welcome to this theory of thought I call, The Woman in Rocky.
