I am a forty year old, single mother of two; a daughter, Heather and a son, Jacob. I am also a grandmother of two beautiful little people, Alivia and Eli, who are everything to me in this world. I am in my second year at Penn State University, DuBois campus. I am working on an associate degree in physical therapy. Never in my wildest imagination would I think I’d be writing anything anyone would want to read. I’ve always known that I could express myself better on paper than I could face to face with someone, but I never had to do it for a grade.
When I started college almost two years ago I felt very intimidated about writing papers and I guess it wasn’t until this semester(my last) that everything started to click and I started to enjoy writing. I give all the credit for that to my English instructor, Sandy McChesney. She has been a great asset and has taught me so much in the few weeks that I’ve been in her class. So if you are sitting their reading this thinking “I can never do that” just remember this, everything is possible if you just put your mind to it. Hello I am Alexandria, and I was born in Vancouver WA, but grew up in Beverly Hills, CA. I am a website developer in Los Angeles, CA. I have written poetry all my life as a way to express myself. I have had to overcome major obstacles in my life which inspired “Where am I”. My best friend just died from complications of alcoholism, he was my motivation for “The Questions in my Head” I recently met a man that is helping me recover from this loss of my best friend. “Loving You Is the Greatest Gift from the Universe” is a thank you to him.
Hello – I'm Mary – my alias is "Emaresse" - pronounced M R S – it's my initials. I began really writing when I was in high school, but I remember as a child, always making lists, especially of names – I loved exotic names.
I mainly write poetry, but recently have branched out into erotic fiction. I have written a few songs also. I feel that my specialty is taking stories from everyday circumstances, and adding a twist. Sometimes, it's something that I want to happen to me, and sometimes I will hear someone talking, and let my imagination run wild. If my reader was "there" when reading my work, than I have accomplished my goal! I hope you enjoy my work, and I can be reached at emaresse@yahoo.com .
