How was your day today?  Was it productive, long, short, boring or what?  Did you see many
things.  Notice a lot of people, and talk to some, either verbally or in body language or motions?
Now if you can remember, what did you talk about?  Why were you talking, and what did
you and the other person, get out of it?  When you spoke, did you use your natural way of
persuasion, or did you out maneuver them in proving or stating your point?  Were you on the
receiving end in these talks, or did you instruct the manner rhythm it was delivered?  I ask
these questions to simply ask this one, when was the last time you had a conversation?
That's right, a conversation.  Not talk, but converse freely for the pure joy of exploring and
unconditionally listening?  I haven't had a good or bad conversation in a long time, and I'm
starving for one.  Want to have one with me?  Why?  Come on, you've been talking all day, so
why not change up your routine, with something new and refreshing.  We can agree, or
disagree.  Hell, we can agree to not disagree, or disagree on the things we agree on.  Lets
just have a conversation, and not talk to each other, like every other day.  Now don't get me
wrong, talking has its place and time, as does everything else.  And we can also argue on
points we round out in our conversation in conversing this way.  But don't think I'm saying its
healthy to argue, but I am saying that it isn't healthy not to have one from time to time.  So
what do you say, wanna chat, speak, talk or have a conversation?

Good, me too.  Now, just to make sure we're talking about what a conversation is, let me
explain what I mean when I say these things to you.  To me, when you talk, you're
actually passing time and doing things out of a routine or formal introduction or
entrance to an exit. Talking, is when you are talking to person and you give them your
email address to stay in touch after the encounter.  Talking is a way of sending letters,
documents and text pages across the world because it's quick, easy, fun and doesn't
require much effort. Talking, is when you think you have it going on with an complete
outfit from Coach, Fendi or Gucci.  Conversing, is when you are Gucci, Fendi, Coach or
the store that sold it to you.  Talking is when you gossip and feel sorry for Gary
Coleman when you see him on television, and you remember how he lost all of his
money as a child movie star.  Conversing, is realizing he's back on television because
he's either talented, a fighter or learned his lessons and applied that lesson to make
more money acting.  Whatcha Talking Bout Willis?  Sorry, had to do that.  Talking, is
thinking a security guard, a body guard and bouncer are the same thing.  Conversing
is talking about knowing, why each is needed and  which ones belongs where we
place them.  Conversing, not talking, but conversing or conversation, is when you
and that same person, is talking about how incredible it is that someone that more
than likely came from a home that spoke one or two languages, invented something
called the Internet, that is a universal language, tool and vehicle that connects a
efficient level of communication, to all languages to billions of people.  How
ridiculously paid in full this person is, and how humble he is, to not take the spot light,
so others can shine in his light. That's a conversation.  Something where you feel
uplifted, and thankful for those sharing their wisdoms and experiences with you.
Appreciating the opinions, views and level of acceptance or denial.  So, as we continue,
lets start conversing.
