The Camel and The Chiropractor

Being a lifetime marketer of products being produced and sold, and a deeply passionate
man of business in its purest form, I’m one that truly enjoys the cross level of displaying a
product that connects in others areas of ones life. I feel that part of selling or presenting a
product or service, is to have its delivery on what its creator, not the creation, but creator is all
about. I’m sure if you survey one hundred prestigious sales people, they all will tell you the
same two things. They will tell you the majority of their success is rooted via 1) you need to
have a good product to sell, that you can stand behind and believe in. 2) You are not just
selling the product. You are actually more selling yourself. You may have or display and pitch
something everyone else also has, but the sales person has the ability to make the
consumer feel good about buying them and their product at this very moment. I feel besides
the product, one should develop an aura that is timeless and everlasting, that goes far
beyond the product its self. The association with quality, the comparisons with whatever
demographics you’re trying to reach and the guidelines to responsibility having such a
product in your grasp, speaks volumes in ones status and availabilities to others. That way,
even as trends and times change, the meaning behind the initial introduction is forever
ongoing. One commercial that I feel sells a product, makes a statement and is relevant to
each stage of it’s purpose is the one carefully crafted and delivered by Volkswagen. Though
this corporation has been modeled around a quality cult like reputation for years, its
diversity to attract and keep its loyal fan base, is second to none. If one knows it or not,
they’re one of the first car companies to use a triple stage strategy in selling its product.
Besides the affordable Beetle or Bug, Passat and Vanagon with the branded logo of
Farfenugen or something like that, it also produces a sporty mid-level product in Audi, and
high end item in its Porsche’s. But going beyond the product, it’s the masterminds that
are producing it, that need to be admired and appreciated. Beyond just making cars, its
campaign for items, has always reached far beyond just selling what many can
financially buy. The motto, slogan, phrase or saying at the end of a thirty second sales
pitch, or in its extended version that stretches to one minute on television in its 2005
commercial is, “On The Road Of Life, There Are Drivers and There Are Passengers.
Which One Are You?” is a prime example.
I think that is so universal specific, that many don’t catch the craftiness in it’s meaning ,
delivery and debt. Think about it, it is true, yet, so overlook. So simple, yet, is integrated
into the thread that holds together the fabric of life, that many are drawn to its product by
pure attachment purposes. I personally admire slogans and models because they
detail the fine points in proper planning, and representation of something well thought
through. So as I continue this theory, I commend Volkswagen and the other companies
hat crosses the Ts and dots the Is , as they continue to lead those that follow in
their foot blindly.
Now recently, I made some drastic changes in my life. Besides almost losing my
inheritance and savings, going in serious debt and losing my mind, I disconnect
my long time email, changed my home and cell phone number of 10 years, and
basically shut off the world I’ve known fore many years, for many more reasons.
“It was something “I felt was needed, and not just something I wanted to do selfishly.
I find myself falling back into patterns that were taking me on rides I didn’t want to go
on, and witnessing things that have shown themselves to me many times before in
different ways. I was becoming addicted to drama, and digging out of holes I was
burying myself within this pattern. To be blunt and simple it was wearing me down.
I don’t blame the people I was associated with, nor do I blame my efforts, outlook or
insight. But how many times must a person do something before they realize, their way
isn’t working and holding them back? Its not that people hold you back, I feel that
we allow people to hold us back with their influence over us. “How many times must
one times must in decide which choice they will select before they realize the selections
may actually be selecting them, because of their patterns and tendencies. It’s a humble
and experience person that can appreciate the ride up, once they’ve been down and
seen the same view from a different angel. It the wise man that can figure out that in most
cases, it definitely not for them the way they set out to be or become, it they are failing, or
they wouldn’t be thinking about why they are where they are at, when they get there. If
things work out the way they plan you rarely think about what you do what you didn’t do,
instead of praising what you did.
