Oh yeah, today was one of those days where it is good to be an American. I mean today
history was made, and it had a little bit more kick to it than usual. Today me and my very
best friend hung out and had a chance to reflect on our secret lives that each one knew
about through time, familiarity and a process of elimination, but never knew the specifics on
the level of selfishness concerning the skeletons in the closet. George W. Bush got
re-elected today, and we were discussing why we both understood the politics in having
someone like him in office. You see in our opinion, his philosophy stems from those
making things happen, and not those that let things happen to them. He rewards
ambition, and does not give in to the sympathy of those not seeking the unknown. He
acknowledges them, but wants this nation to take responsibilities for their actions, not just
the actions that take place against them. He's a self made man that followed his fathers
footsteps, and made more tracks on his own once he seized the moments he learned
from. He is also smart enough to hire a staff that picks up his slack, and places him in a
position to well, be re-elected. I'm not saying I totally agree with him, as those feel the
same about me, but from a business perspective, I truly appreciate and respect his views.
His background is one of being involved or doing, not one of those who is just wanting to
get by and wanting what he doesn't need. So we both agreed a long time ago, that to be
in the class of elite, you must propel yourself somehow into that world, if you want that
life and all that comes with it. We were also talking about intimate secrets, and the
things that churn the soul and stir the juices that make the silent difference. As usual
we were in the studio mixing music and feeling the vibe of one of our "Moodsetter CD's"..
Talking like men do, doing what males and boys dream about doing. We don't think
we are all of that, but by our mannerisms, personalities, business affiliates and more,
understand we are no where near the bottom of the food chain, and are humbled by
that level of status. We are humbled by the examples we set, and the hard work we
exemplify in setting what we feel is the standard by those that allow us to work with
them. We're hot cats, and we know it. We have paid our dues and understand that
even if you think we are bragging, you don't understand the level of confidence, not
arrogance, but confidence we have established through our experiences. Now we are
not perfect, and have many things to work on. I for one crave a significant other to
share my world with, and me in hers. I want to teach, as well be taught things in a
harmonious way. But in terms of family, friends and business, yeah, we are pretty
much doing it, and having things our way right now. And shared it today, as you will
see.
Now understanding where we came from, and giving homage to those that paved
the way for us to grow, we don't think we are better, just the same in a unique way
that separates us from the norm, what ever the norm is. But we were getting deep in
conversation about what was the turning point in selecting the path we are on now.
We have been friends for over 25 years, and we can talk about things without the
other thinking we're trying to upstage the other. He has been there for me, and me
him, so when we do get together, it is to grow closer while looking farther into our
relationship. He has been married once, and it didn't work out. He enjoys playing the
field with women and has many children that he has dedicated his life to. Me, I'm
different. I'm a loner that has always found the spot light, and not really comfortable on
how is displays me. I've never been married, though close a couple of times, and have
been with so many women that I'm somewhat ashamed or embarrassed by the
number. But I'm a one woman man now, and prefer the intimacy of sharing my secrets
with someone that understands that those things, good and bad, made me who I am
today. So if you don't mind, I will tell you part of our conversation, and try to relay the vibe,
feeling and level we were on and inspire to visit often, and permanently. Enjoy, and
hopefully this inspires you because if you know it or not, this is a turning point. Which
way are you going, which way would you have gone in hindsight, and why?
